Painted in 1954 and signed by artist P. Camerlynck, this pastoral scene captures a quiet, tender moment beneath the sweeping arms of a willow tree. With soft impressionistic brushwork and a palette rich in spring greens and warm golds, the piece evokes a timeless countryside charm. The artist's surname suggests roots in northern France or Belgium, a region steeped in Flemish tradition and known for its serene landscapes and gentle light. Though little is known about Camerlynck's broader body of work, this piece is a sentimental window into mid-century rural life, where the pace was slow and every duckling followed close behind.

Oil on canvas, signed lower right, dated on backside, presented in a giltwood frame.

Large in size and a great centerpiece for a room, especially a nursery!

Dimensions: 23 x 27
