This pendant depicts the Virgin Mary with open arms, rays extending downward from her hands — the classic image of Our Lady of Grace (Notre-Dame des Grâces), also known as the Miraculous Madonna.
She stands in prayer, draped in flowing robes and framed by a radiant halo. The rays symbolize the graces she bestows upon those who seek her intercession, a design inspired by the apparitions of the Virgin Mary to Saint Catherine Labouré in Paris in 1830.
At Mary’s feet, there’s often faint floral or serpent detailing — a nod to her triumph over sin (“she shall crush the serpent’s head”), though in this example, the design emphasizes grace and light rather than the full symbolic scene.

All Maetiques items are considered final sale and sold in, "as-is" condition. Our items are extremely old and have had a prior life, which leads to imperfections. We will always point out major flaws, but due to the nature of our items, returns or exchanges are not accepted.
