A beautiful antique French devotional crucifix, mounted within a warm gilt frame and set against a simple neutral textile backing. The crucifix has a lovely aged tone with a sculptural corpus and small INRI plaque above, giving the piece a quiet, reverent presence.
The frame itself has a soft gold finish with age-related wear, adding warmth and character without feeling overly polished. The reverse shows an old patterned paper backing with wear, losses, and original-style hanging hardware, all adding to the piece’s timeworn charm.
A meaningful smaller-scale piece for a bedside table, prayer corner, gallery wall, shelf, or layered devotional vignette.
Good antique condition with age-appropriate wear. Frame shows rubbing, patina, small marks, and finish variation. Backing paper has visible wear, tearing, losses, and discoloration. Crucifix shows minor age-related wear and appears securely mounted. Sold as found.

All Maetiques items are considered final sale and sold in, "as-is" condition. Our items are extremely old and have had a prior life, which leads to imperfections. We will always point out major flaws, but due to the nature of our items, returns or exchanges are not accepted.
