An impressive, oversized vintage cut crystal box mounted in ornate gilt metal, resting on four substantial paw feet. The crystal body features deep vertical cutting that catches and refracts light beautifully, giving this piece serious presence whether styled on a console, bar, or vanity.
The hinged lid is topped with an elegant finial and framed with decorative ormolu banding. The underside of the feet is stamped C.F., indicating a quality French maker known for refined metalwork. At over 10 inches tall, this is far larger than the typical crystal box and was clearly intended as a focal decorative object rather than a small trinket piece.
Perfect for storing bar accessories, matches, letters, or simply styled as a standalone sculptural accent.

All Maetiques items are considered final sale and sold in, "as-is" condition. Our items are extremely old and have had a prior life, which leads to imperfections. We will always point out major flaws, but due to the nature of our items, returns or exchanges are not accepted.
