This antique bronze frame—complete with an ornate ribbon-and-foliate crest—houses an original ink sketch of Notre Dame, drawn on hand-torn French paper by a young Parisian artist we met on our latest sourcing trip.
The contrast is irresistible: the richness of the gilded bronze paired with the softness of the midnight-blue textile backing, creating a tiny vignette that feels quietly luxurious. Each line of the sketch was done freehand via coffee by a young Parisian artist, capturing the façade of Notre Dame with a whimsical, almost storybook quality.
This piece is perfect styled on a bookshelf, vanity, or layered into a gallery wall. A little Paris moment, preserved.

All Maetiques items are considered final sale and sold in, "as-is" condition. Our items are extremely old and have had a prior life, which leads to imperfections. We will always point out major flaws, but due to the nature of our items, returns or exchanges are not accepted.
