A refined example of French craftsmanship, this Louis XV-style side table features an elegant silhouette and beautifully layered details. The top is crowned with a richly veined gray marble, edged in a subtly contoured brass gallery that follows the gentle serpentine shape of the table’s frame, echoing the Rococo influences of the Louis XV period. The marble’s striking natural patterning introduces just the right amount of drama while remaining undeniably classic.
The dark mahogany frame is gracefully curved, resting on four slender cabriole legs adorned with gilt-bronze (ormolu) mounts at each knee and toe. These delicate accents add a soft shimmer and timeless contrast to the deep tones of the wood. The lower tier—a beautifully shaped shelf with inlaid parquetry—mirrors the top’s elegant curves, offering both function and symmetry. The combination of materials—marble, wood, and gilt bronze—brings both richness and restraint, making this table a versatile piece for hallways, salons, or beside a chaise.

All Maetiques items are considered final sale and sold in, "as-is" condition. Our items are extremely old and have had a prior life, which leads to imperfections. We will always point out major flaws, but due to the nature of our items, returns or exchanges are not accepted.
