A character-filled vintage French postal canvas bag marked POSTES FRANCE with the classic postal logo and number 2. The heavy canvas has a wonderful timeworn look, with faded black lettering, warm discoloration, and utilitarian stitching that gives it a beautifully collected French workwear feel.
This piece would be great styled as a decorative textile, folded on open shelving, tucked into a basket, layered in a mudroom, or used as a prop in a studio or office. The worn surface, soft structure, and graphic lettering make it especially charming for French farmhouse or collected utility styling.
Condition:
Good vintage condition with heavy age-appropriate wear. Canvas shows staining, discoloration, fading, wrinkles, marks, and general signs of prior use. Lettering is faded but legible. Sold as found; recommended for decorative use.

All Maetiques items are considered final sale and sold in, "as-is" condition. Our items are extremely old and have had a prior life, which leads to imperfections. We will always point out major flaws, but due to the nature of our items, returns or exchanges are not accepted.
