Sourced in Paris and handcrafted from an antique French ironstone plate, this ornament showcases one of the most charming maker’s marks in French faïence history: the Moulin des Loups & Hamage windmill. The crisp black stamp is perfectly framed within the cut of this piece, giving it the feel of a tiny archival medallion.
Flip it over and you’ll find a fragment of the plate’s original blue pattern—bold, graphic, and beautifully contrasted against the warm cream ironstone. Layers of natural crazing throughout speak to its age and authenticity.

All Maetiques items are considered final sale and sold in, "as-is" condition. Our items are extremely old and have had a prior life, which leads to imperfections. We will always point out major flaws, but due to the nature of our items, returns or exchanges are not accepted.
