Handcrafted in Paris from an antique French ironstone plate, this ornament features a striking fragment of hand-tinted rose petals in vivid shades of pink and raspberry. The floral detail is richly textured with natural crazing—one of the beautiful hallmarks of aged faïence—and softened by decades of gentle wear.
The reverse side reveals a wash of pale lavender and cream from the original plate’s glaze, adding unexpected charm and subtle color variation. Each ornament is cut and finished by our trusted Parisian vendor who specializes in ironstone, then paired with a gold ribbon for a soft, festive touch.

All Maetiques items are considered final sale and sold in, "as-is" condition. Our items are extremely old and have had a prior life, which leads to imperfections. We will always point out major flaws, but due to the nature of our items, returns or exchanges are not accepted.

It is the responsibility of the buyer to ask questions prior to purchasing an item. All sales are final.
