A charming set of two vintage French landscape studies, each beautifully presented in a slim gilt frame with warm rust-orange matting. The pair features soft countryside views with trees, open fields, pale skies, and gentle painterly detail, giving them a sweet collected quality.
The smaller central paintings have a lovely loose hand, with soft greens, blues, creams, and warm golden tones that contrast beautifully against the deeper matting. Hung together, they create a balanced little French landscape moment, perfect for a narrow wall, bedroom, study, hallway, kitchen, or layered gallery arrangement.
Sold as a set of two.
Condition:
Good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear. Frames show light rubbing, small marks, and minor finish variation. Matting shows some age and wear. Artwork presents nicely with soft surface texture and visible brushwork. Backs are finished with simple paper backing and hanging rings. Sold as found.

All Maetiques items are considered final sale and sold in, "as-is" condition. Our items are extremely old and have had a prior life, which leads to imperfections. We will always point out major flaws, but due to the nature of our items, returns or exchanges are not accepted.
