A sweet vintage French porcelain dish by Pillivuyt, one of France’s long-standing porcelain makers, crafted in France since 1818. The underside is marked Pillivuyt France with an a. simon Paris retailer stamp, and the front features a bold orange rim with fine gilt edging and a charming central monogram.
This piece feels very old-world Parisian hotel, restaurant, or private-service porcelain — refined but still useful. Perfect as a small catchall, vanity dish, soap dish, bedside tray, or layered into a collected shelf moment. The orange detailing gives it a little more personality than classic white porcelain while still feeling timeless and French.
Condition: Good vintage condition with age-related wear. Some rubbing/loss to the gilt edge and orange rim, light surface marks, underside discoloration, and general wear consistent with age and use. No major flaws visible from photos.
Estimated age: likely early to mid 20th century.
